Ann Westby started making jewelry in 2001, which is when she quit working to start a family. In 2006, she started Petals & Metals.
With a huge passion for jewelry, both the making and the wearing of it, Ann constantly strives to improve and expand her skills. This is what has taken her from beading & wire work, her first love, into metalsmithing and precious metal clay. A couple of metalsmithing and PMC classes are all it took to get her completely hooked on metal and fire. With metalsmithing came the ability to make her own findings rather than relying on mass produced pieces, which enhances her designs and makes them truly one of a kind!
